Well, we tried, but Marin County spent all that Safe Routes to Schools funding, from a on a concrete sidewalk my neighbors never asked for, most said they did not want, and many asked they not build.
Heck, we even tried reaching out to Marin Horizon School - on SEVERAL occasions - to give them the opportunity to help residents build a permeable, semi-rural path - but bureaucracy, bullying and BS won that battle.
It's very sad. I feel for anyone who works in public service.
